BEAUTY HAUL: Superdrug, Primark & Bodycare! Read all about the fascinating NEW products and AMAZING things I bought on my favourite haul yet...

So, this is my new beauty blog! I'm already settled into reviewing books and stuff over on Pretty Little Memoirs; the blog that started it all...so, if you like YA (young adult) books, discussing my obsession with Vampire and Angel books, you should definitely check it out! Anyways, onward with the gorgeous products!

This little gem by L'Oreal is their "Skin Perfection: Cleansing and Perfecting Milk" that is specifically made for people with sensitive skin that find normal make-up removers are too harsh on their skin or leave the skin feeling dry and generally dehydrated. Another amazing thing about this product is that it even removes waterproof/stubborn makeup; something that I even put to the test myself. I picked this up in Bodycare for £2.49, which is almost 40% off the retail price in other stores. So get it quick!
It's no secret that I love Revlon's whole makeup range and despite only buying a few items from their range in Superdrug, I surely picked up one of their best new products in the shape of Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede in the shade 020 "front row". I've put some swatches below of this gorgeous peachy, pink shade; a colour that meets somewhere between a sorbet pink and a creamy peach. This retails for £8.99. I picked it up in Superdrug, but Boots have a 3 for 2 on all Revlon products at the moment, (I picked it up in Superdrug because Boots didn't have the shade I wanted.)
These lipsticks were probably my biggest bargain of this haul, with their retail price being just £1. The dark pink shade is called "-00" and the baby pink shade is called "-02" and I got them in Primark. I wasn't expecting something incredible because, you know, they were only £1..but nevertheless, they were pretty long lasting and very high in pigment. Another plus for me was that they didn't have that "cheap" lipstick texture or taste that sometimes inexpensive products can have. I think these lipsticks are only available in bigger Primark stores and are just recently available.

Here are the swatches for the three lipsticks above; first at the very top is the dark pink shade from Primark which is going to look amazing in the upcoming Summer months. Like I said before, the Primark lipsticks were very high in pigment and just one swipe of the tube on my wrist unveiled a good consistency of colour. The baby pink Primark shade is so cute and I can definitely see myself wearing it with my Maybelline Gel Liner this Spring. And last, but so not least, is the perfect "front row" shade from Revlon. It's quite soft on appliance, and not so much of a full-blown colour. The highlight of this lipstick is how long it stays on for; a good four-to-five hours at the least. My favourite of all the shades would most definitely be the Revlon shade just because I adore the brand and had wanted this shade forever.
I found this Rimmel Salon PRO nail polish in a Supermarket for a trial price of £2.99 and really couldn't resist. It's in the shade "312 - Ultra Violet" and is literally the prettiest, amazing shade of nail polish out at the moment. It looks darker in the bottle than when it's applied which is a definite plus because I hate colours that dry tons darker than what I thought they looked like. It took two coats of polish (leaving 2-3 minutes in between) to get the colour opaque enough on my toe nails (yes, I wore it the same day I bought it..it was that good). Overall, it's worth buying the new line of polish, either just for the pretty new colours or because the new range comes with Lycra which is supposed to keep colour on longer!

The other wow, wow, wow polish I bought was the beautiful "Radiant" which is a sparkly, florescent blue with shimmering particles and little gems inside. I thought at first maybe I had picked up a top-coat of blue sparkles...but if you sort of "stipple" this polish on to your nails, it comes out a solid, incredible colour (with two coats leaving under 3 minutes between). I have about six Revlon polishes, but none of the sparkle-kind, so this was a surprising choice for me! I never usually go for something I'm not sure how it will turn out, but when it caught my eye in Superdrug...I knew it was coming home with me. It retails for £6.49 but I got it for £4.99 on an exclusive offer to Superdrug at the moment!

I heard so much buzz about the colour tattoo 24-hour colours from Maybelline for so long that when I saw these two gorgeous shades, I had to try them out. So, there were no testers so I was just going on what looked like my type of colours. First, I picked up "24K Gold" which is actually really high quality pigment and looks surprisingly pretty. I thought perhaps Gold would look tacky, but it really doesn't; it's quite the opposite. They come in small, gel eyeliner type containers and don't feel slick or greasy like other cream eye-shadows.

The other colour tattoo shade I got was "Permanent Taupe" which is a matte brown-dark purple shade (it's like a light brown with some other kind of tint, but I'm not sure). I was surprised that it was "matte" because I expected some sort of glitter or sparkle to it like other cream eye-shadows, for which I was really mistaken. It's a really good crease colour, and the more you work it in with either your finger or a brush, you can change up the intensity of the shade itself. Overall, another amazing buy! Onwards...

Why haven't I tried this yet?! That was the only sentence going through my head when I saw this. I had saw some really good reviews of the Rocket Mascara from Maybelline (I got the Waterproof one in Black) so when I saw it in Superdrug I wasn't sure if it was going to live up to my favourite Maybelline mascara "One by One". All I know is I must try this soon! Review to come...

Another Supermarket offer came with these doll-eye perfect mascara's from Collection 2000. I picked up Extreme Coloured Lengthening Mascara in "3 - Purple" which is like a slightly darker shade of Lilac. Although the packaging makes me want to use this for an Extreme Bold Eye look, I think it might look better on a softer, Spring day.

This was a total bargain. On offer in a Supermarket for £1.99?! That's so amazing considering this mascara is kind-of perfect. It's an electric blue, doesn't make my lashes hard or clumped...overall, a lovely "All Day" colour as described. This would look really nice on it's own with just a nude lip, or dressed up for a night out. Collection 2000 have been coming out with some really great new products recently so I'm excited to try more from this range.

Pretty amazing deal I have here! Two gorgeous palettes from Primark for £2.50 each!
In the Black palette there are some really glittery, dark vampy colours. There are three matte shades (black, navy & dark green) and the rest are glittery or have a sparkle in them. Most of them are quite high in pigment, though if you blend them out too much they will fade beyond where you cam see them. Another high point is that it comes with an applicator brush that's double ended.

This pretty white palette is beautiful. It has a few matte shades, a few glitter like the other palette...but the shades are so amazing that this picture doesn't really do them justice. I can see myself wearing these in the Springtime into Summer with shades from day-to-night and of course, it was quite cheap so I wasn't expecting a massive like ability of all the shades but this palette has really out-done itself. Yay for Primark Hauls! :)

The last thing in this Haul is the Pure Self-Heating Sauna Mask by Garnier Skin Naturals. I'm allergic to the face-creams and serums from Garnier but thought since this product is made out of different ingredients and doesn't actually stay on my skin for more than five minutes, it may be okay. It comes in 2 6ml sachets and it says that it will leave your skin feeling purified for up to 7 days. It's made from White Clay and Zinc which are both known for their healing and acne fighting properties so I'm really excited to try this! It's 99p from Bodycare and dermatologically tested.

I really hope you loved this Haul as much as I did,

happy shopping,
